Cutaway chassis custom built busses are requiring extreme 12 volt power for today's heavy duty applications and their extensive overhead loads, in some cases over  130 amps at idle.   Stock OE chassis 12 volt power supplies can't even come close.  Increase your chassis 12 volt power by installing an APS Heavy Duty Alternator.  Now standard spec on most DOTs and OE custom body builders.

All of our heavy duty alternators have an internal regulator.  No brackets, custom belts or separate wiring harnesses are required.   The unit will directly fit your existing mounts and harness plug.   Upgraded output and ground wires are required due to higher power output.   Instructions are included.
